Welcome
to Consultwebs.com's real estate resource site. First, we are not
attorneys and do not provide legal advice. You should consult your
attorney with questions about any specific real estate transaction. We
do, however, provide current, helpful legal resources.
Real estate can be defined as lands, crops, and anything permanently
affixed to the land, such as buildings and fences. Real estate also
includes things normally thought of as personal property which are
permanently attached to the buildings, such as light fixtures and
plumbing and heating fixtures. The term "real estate" is generally used
interchangeably with the term "real property".
For most people, the buying and/or selling of real estate is the most
expensive undertaking they will have. It is important to understand all
the steps in the entire process and the significance of each decision
along the way.
